Europe’s Official Nintendo Magazine has confirmed that Fatal Frame 4 will be getting a European release. Interestingly enough, it will be called Fatal Frame 4, as opposed to Project Zero as the other Fatal Frame games have been titled in Europe.

As for a North American release, apparently there will be one after all. According to an XSEED representative named Ken:

If you’re talking about Fatal Frame 4 for the Wii then it’s coming to the US, even though it won’t be by us. Can’t tell you who’s bringing it over, but keep your eyes peeled for an official announcement, hopefully sometime soon.

So it won’t be published by XSEED, and it earlier statements from Reggie are to be believed, it won’t be published by Nintendo in North America, either. (Though Nintendo will publish it in Europe.) Oh, well. I don’t care who brings it over here, just as long as they do it and do it right.

Marvelous and XSEED’s E3 line up has been announced, and it’s quite the list. In addition to Valhalla Knights 2 for the PSP, Populous and Korg DS-10 for the DS will be available this fall, with Retro Game Challenge (DS) and Little King’s Story (Wii) arriving in the Winter. Rounding out the fiscal year is Avalon Code DS and Rune Factory: Frontier for the Wii.

All these games will make an appearance at the E3 summit next week, so hopefully each of us going will get a chance to check them out and show you some footage. Let us know specifically which games you’re interested in!
