Incase you didn’t already know, the Moster Hunter series is a pretty big deal. Like, has scales and can eat your face big. Luckily for Wii owners, Monster Hunter 3 is no exception. Get ready to break out your oversized explosive mace, because you’re going to need it.

The 2008 Tokyo Game Show is quickly approaching, and Square Enix now knows what they’ll be sharing. Their website confirms which games will be playable at the show, and which ones will be restricted to trailers. The Wii and DS titles are listed below:
It’s an odd list, considering that Chrono Trigger was playable as early as E3 in July. You can click through to Square Enix’s website to see the games for all platforms that will be in Tokyo next week, and in what forms.

With E3 and Leipzig out of the way, conference season is well under way. Of the few that are left on the schedule, TGS in early October probably has the most potential to hold a show-stopping announcement or two. Sure those chances still aren’t great, but I’ll take anything I can get at this point. The full list of participating companies after the break.
