In case you’ve got some downtime while taking a business trip to New York, Boston, Maryland, or Phoenix, or simply want to waste the money your parents spent for you to go sightseeing, you can now play the Wii! Nintendo has partnered with Marriott Hotels to include special Wii systems in a limited number of rooms at six hotels.

An impressive 20 titles, including Wii Sports, Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii, and Wii Fit will be available with the deal. Yeah, I’m assuming that means the rooms will come with the snazzy Wii Balance Board as well. Of course, the games are all played without actual game discs, which makes you wonder what Nintendo’s using to store 20 discs-worth of video games…

How in the galaxy did I miss this? Ramon Stokes’ latest creation (following his Zelda Wii, Zelda DS, Metroid Wii, Rockstar Wii, and Clerks Wii) completed this past April is the highly anticipated Super Mario Galaxy-themed Wii he promised some months back. I’m so late to the party that I didn’t even get to post about the record-breaking auction for it.

For some people, dressing up in costumes before or after Halloween is something saved for special occasions — a Revenge of the Sith midnight showing, or a Wii launch at Rockefeller Center. For others, including those doing Broadway shows each and every night of the year, it’s a job.

But for the people that make those costumes and for those that put them on to transform into someone else entirely, it’s an art form. We’ve seen some amazing examples of cosplay in the past, each demonstrating a tremendous amount of effort in creating. I caught up with 21-year-old Andrea Zampella from Orlando, FL to talk about a couple of the dozens of costumes she’s made and worn in the past. Read on to see some pictures of her Rosalina (from Super Mario Galaxy) and Midna (from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess) costumes, and what she had to say about the intriguing hobby.
