Mario & Luigi RPG 3 was announced at the Tokyo Games Show just last month, and a Japanese release date has already been set. The game will hit shelves in Japan on February 11th.

Mario & Luigi RPG 3 is the third game in the Mario & Luigi series. It will use a battle system similar to that of the previous two Mario & Luigi games, and will feature Bowser as a playable character. This time, the brothers are up against a plague that’s spreading across the Mushroom Kingdom, possibly turning Toads into the crazy spherical monstrosities in the above screenshot.

No American release date has been revealed yet. You can count on us to report that little tidbit as soon as it becomes available.

As revealed on the second day of Nintendo’s fall media summit, World of Goo is officially coming on the 13thof this month. The game, created by 2D Boy, has gathered quite a following since with it’s freeform stick-and-stack gameplay.

Sure, the news may not be as epic as day one of the media summit, but if you have been waiting to get your goo on, it’s almost time.

Nintendo has announced the official release date for their most recent stab at the casual market, and Wii Music will be taking the stage on October 20th. All of the maestros in the making out there ready your WiiMotes, and prepare to waggle… er, conduct to your heart’s content in just over a month. Although it has been said that the newest, which in a retro way is actually older than many other titles, Mega Man game would be available in September, no actual date had been revealed. Until now that is, as Mega Man 9 launches on September 24th in Japan. Still no word on any other territories, but North America should be right around the corner.

Wii fanboy

It’s always been know that the newest title in the Call of Duty franchise would be landing this holiday season, but World at War has officially nailed down Nov. 11 for deployment on all consoles. I’m interested to see how this game plays when compared to The Conduit. Should be an interesting year now that developers are realizing that when it comes to Wii FPS controls, the more freedom the better.

The ever elusive Disaster: Day of Crisis finally has a concrete street day. Everyone across the pond circle October 24th on the calendar. Sure, only Europe has been nailed down, but it’s great news for fans following the game. Sadly no additional footage came with the announcement, but with a date just around the corner some should be showing up shortly.

Sad face. It looks like the release date for the European territory has been pushed out of 2008 and into 2009. As it stands, the game is listed for the region as “early 2009″, and let’s hope that means as early as possible. Hold strong Chrono fans!
