When Brett was revealed as the cover athlete of Madden 09, it was a tribute to the great career Favre had. Now he’s a New York Jet. Trouble, right? Don’t worry, EA has you covered.

Now available for download are the PDF versions of a shiny new cover with Jet Favre ready for action. Bad news for any Nintendo owners that are picking up the game, however, the replacements are available for all consoles except Wii and DS. Lame. How much harder is it to make those covers available too? At least the Wii will be getting the online roster update with Favre as a Jet.
