Take-Two has confirmed that the portable version of their popular Grand Theft Auto series is coming sometime “this winter”. Speaking in fiscal year terms, that means anywhere from the start of November to the end of January is fair game. Hopefully more details will arise soon, before the game gets swept up in the commotion of the holidays.

…in some way, shape, or form, that is. The official site for the DS installment of Rockstar’s popular series has been updated with a pretty bare structure, presumably as a placeholder for a full fledged site to come.
The one small bit of news that is revealed on the page is the aforementioned Wi-Fi support. Sure, it might just be speculation at the moment, but with the multiplayer being as good as it is in GTA4, why can’t a man dream?
