Combining killer stitching skills and artistic interpretation, these were made by Michele Legendre of the aptly named Deadly Sweet Plushes. There were almost too many amazing and squeezably cute creations to share, so I’ve added a bunch to our gallery below. My favorite? Probably Chun-Li, but Protoman makes for serious competition. Ur, uh, I mean the tanooki ones of course!

Now this is a very grown up spin on a common geekcraft theme. This bamboo magnet set, handcrafted by Aristomatic, is going for $130 on Etsy. My suggestion to the artist? Make one of Boo. Then you could call it BamBOO, get it!? Oh man I suck.

The person who did this is a genius. A wicked, wicked, genius by the name of Jane Labowitch. I don’t know whether to praise her or build a bridge out of her. Maybe test her weight, see how she measures up against a duck. What I’m saying is, it’s a level of geek craft mastery I’ve yet to comprehend. Kudos to artist Jane, AKA Princess Etch A Sketch. I think it’s time you got promoted to Queen.

These leather hole tool punches have Pac-Man nailed

Instructables user cbm104 has posted a detailed tutorial on how create these leather hole tool punches, made by working the head of a nail with a metal file and hacksaw. I love that he chose to use Pac-Man and a Ghost to illustrate the technique. You can read up on how to do it yourself at the link below, or just enjoy the pic above ’cause after all…who the heck needs a leather hole tool punch?
