At noon Central Time, if they’re not claimed, we’ll cancel the prize and all non-winning points will carry over to the previously ongoing Treasure Ship game (so you might want to answer those remaining questions). I’ll have Matt work out the details, but as of 11:50am CST, the following scores will be added to the Treasure Ship leaderboard page (which is also out of date):

Of all the people who have gained points so far for the Video Games Live tickets, only one of you has expressed a little bit of interest in winning the tickets…and that person decided it wasn’t worth the 8-hour drive, considering the winner is announced at noon and the show starts at 8pm. Basically, no one’s in line to win yet.

The winner will be entitled to two tickets to tonight’s Video Games Live concert at 8pm at the Chicago Theatre. Of course, the winner can opt to split the two-ticket prize with the runner-up… that’s his/her choice. Another game screen! Which one is it?

Just a reminder - I’m probably sleeping at the moment. If you comment with the right answer, I’ll confirm it in the morning sometime after I’ve gone through my morning routine. In the meantime, feel free to kill some time on our forums.

Alright, I’ve gotta head on over to bed for the night. The Treasure Ship will continue even as I sleep: posts by me will magically appear throughout the night, giving you more and more challenges, just to be fair to those who were out during Friday evening, or those that simply aren’t online until these hours. I won’t be online to confirm correct answers until the morning, but the rules still apply: the first person to COMMENT to each post with the correct answer(s) gets the point. Here’s another audio clip for those of you who know your game music. It’s a good thing to know, especially if you’re in this contest to win tix to Video Games Live!

It shouldn’t be too hard of an excerpt, it’s not like it’s from deep within a game at a time you have more important things to worry about… You’d hear it pretty often if you played it!

This special Treasure Ship is all for a couple of concert tickets, so I figured… why not throw up some audio clips? The first one is below. Simply name the game it’s from.

A few more things I need to mention - for TS posts with an image, don’t click the image, and then post your answer/comment on the image comment page. Comment on the post itself. I’ll try and avoid linking to the picture to avoid that confusion.

Also, previous Treasure Ship points from Matt’s “extended” Treasure Ship 2 are still good, but not for this VGL Treasure Ship. It wouldn’t be fair to those that we’re trying to spread the word to if they came in with a disadvantage, and it wouldn’t do any good to existing TS leaders to win tickets if they’re not from the area. Your points are still good for AFTER this VGL Treasure Ship, unless Matt says otherwise.
