We’re back! A close game indeed, but who squeeks by in the end? Do the Angels sweep or do the Red Sox force game 3?

Talk about a slugfest! I can’t remember how many times the players go yard in this game, but I do remember Matt Holliday jumping onto the fence in an attempt to rob the home run.
Next game: Angels vs Red Sox

You know, I really am starting to get a hang of these highlight reels. ESPN, here I come!
A home run kicks off the scoring on this glorious Tuesday morning game at Jacobs Field. Who hits it? Watch to find out!
Next game: Rockies vs Philadelphia Phillies

After a series of bad live feeds, we are going to test out the Sports Center method for each game. Everything is exactly the same, except the feed is now going directly into my computer where I capture the footage. After each game, I will then toss together a highlight reel of the game’s best moments. I wanted to do some commentary for these, but my microphone is in the process of being replaced. Besides, it will make our World Series blowout special that much more exciting!
Tonight’s game was quite the pitching duel up until the ninth, when a certain team tore the field up. Which team emerged victorious? Watch the video to find out! Also, let me know if you like these highlight reels better than the staggered live streams.

Happy Sunday! Whether you are taking care of some homework, explorin’ those pesky seas in Zelda, or enjoying yet another week of the New England Patriot’s dominance, you should remember to sign up for the Tanooki Playoffs. Today is the final day to sign up since we will be seeing a ton of action this week, so get those picks in today.
So far, the grand prize winner will take home 2000 Wii points, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the prize list will grow in the coming weeks…
Just remember, there is only one entry per person. Don’t try to scam the system by using different names or email addresses. That’s right, we know who you are!

Ah, another excellent game was had during today’s game. It was a back and forth battle between the Rockies and Phillies, with the Phillies trailing by 2 runs at the bottom of the ninth. That is, until Ryan Howard knocked a 3 run walk off home run with 2 outs left. It was like last night’s Red Sox game all over again.
On that note, the quality of the live broadcast was not up to my standards, again. As a result, I will be testing out a non-live format, but the quality will be much better. With this new format, I will also be putting together an ESPNesque highlight reel after each game to feature the best plays.
In other playoff news, the grand prize winner will now get 2000 Wii Points. Exciting!

With 3 games already completed, the first annual Tanooki playoff contest is in full swing. Join us tomorrow morning at 4:30pm CST for the first game between the Phillies and Rockies.
Don’t forget to enter the contest! It’s simple, even if you haven’t watched an inning of baseball in your life. All you need to do is just guess which team will win the Tanooki playoffs, and if your team wins, you will get some sweet prizes. Oh, and one winner will take home the grandest of the prizes, which will be revealed in the near future.
Registration ends this Sunday, so jump on over and get in on the action today.

It was a glorious day for the Red Sox in the “real world,” but not so much in their first game of the Tanooki playoffs.
Ortiz lit things up in the first inning with a solo shot, but it was all downhill from there as the Angels went on to score 4 unanswered runs. The Red Sox started to get things going later in the game, but they failed to capitalize on the opportunity by leaving men on base each inning.
Final score: 5-2
So has anybody been watching these games live? I know some people have. If so, tell me what you think so far. Have the live streams been good quality so far, or has there been a ton of lag? Tell me what you think!
I am in the process of rounding up some more prizes for the contest, so don’t forget to enter as soon as possible!

Talk about a quality pitching duel. Carlos Zambrano carried a perfect game into the ninth, where he, well, finished up the job! Brandon Webb also had a quality start, but it wasn’t enough for the victory after a quick solo shot by Floyd in the bottom of the first.
Next game: Angels vs Red Sox- October 3 @ 10:30pm

For those of you lucky enough to catch the first broadcast, you saw quite a game. The first few minutes of this video has some audio problems, but everything is good by the middle of the 1st. This first video also served as a test to find the best settings, so excuse some huge drops in quality during some parts. No worries though, the future broadcasts will run smoothly.
Highlights:
Top 5th- Jason Giambi Solo HR (18:00)
Doug Mientkiewicz single; Hideki Matsui scores (20:00)
Johnny Damon single; Robinson Cano scores (20:30)Bottom 8th- Grady Sizemore Solo HR (33:00)
Next game: Cubs vs Diamondbacks- October 3 @ 10:30am
