An event that gives players a chance to capture the mythical Jirachi in Pokémon Shuffle has gone live. The event is until July 10th 6:00am UTC (that is July 9th 11:00pm PDT/July 10th 2:00am EDT). A unique aspect of this event is that you may only challenge Jirachi once per day during the event period, giving you only a total of five chances to catch this Pokémon.
The reason this week’s event features Jirachi is likely in celebration of the Tanabata Festival which takes place in Japan on July 7th. People in Japan make wishes during this day, which is why Jirachi is known to grant wishes.
