There are some pretty cool replica Pokémon gym badges floating around the Internet that you can purchase, and some of the manufacturers are really good about producing them to very high quality standards. One person, feralynn, decided to put them all to shame.
These are custom mirrored, acrylic Pokémon gym badges, specifically modeled after the eight gym badges obtained from the Kanto region. Each of the pins are approximately 1.25″ in diameter. Feralynn describes the process of making the full set as taking about three days from start to finished product. You can see photos of those finished products after the break.
