Last night, we found out the ten titles Japanese 3DS buyers will have as launch choices. That’s all fine and dandy, but what are those puppies going to cost? We obviously won’t have official prices for North America or Europe for at least another 11 days, but the Japanese know what they’ll be spending on February 26th. The pricing for the launch lineup is as follows:
- nintendogs + cats – ¥4,800
- Winning Eleven Soccer 3D (a.k.a. Pro Evolution Soccer 3D) - ¥5,800
- Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition – ¥4,800
- Samurai Warriors: Chronicle – ¥6,090
- Puzzle Bobble 3D – ¥4,980
- Ridge Racer 3D – ¥6,090
- Battle of the Giants: Dinosaurs 3D – ¥5,040
- Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle – ¥5,980
You may notice these are actually comparable to current DS game prices of ¥4,800 and current Wii/PSP game prices of ¥5,800, so in reality these prices aren’t so bad. Now when you consider how long you can play them for… well, that’s a different story.
