A 23-year-old man from South Carolina is in stable condition at the hospital after being struck by an SUV Monday night. He was playing Frogger… in real-life.
The name of the man has not been released, though police chief Jimmy Dixon noted that the man had been discussing Frogger with his friends before yelling “Go!” and rushing across the four-line highway. Emergency crews then arrived to take the man to the hospital around 9 p.m. The driver of the SUV is not expected to be charged.
