At these prices, they better be “epic” candy… Amazon Japan is currently taking pre-orders for a brand new treat coming in January. The Kirby’s Epic Yarn Gummies will include 20 gummy snacks shaped like various forms and characters from Kirby’s latest outing along with a special collectible card (20 in all). Pre-orders are currently ¥2,040 per box (~$24), which is a slight discount from the retail price of ¥2,100. The candy will be available on January 19th.
Sadly, these babies won’t be shipping outside of the US. I guess that’s a blessing in disguise… $24 for a box of candy, plus import? Yikes! Let’s just hope someone in the States decides to partner with Nintendo for Kirby’s Epic Yarn candy. Let’s also hope it’s Twizzlers.
