And Microsoft agrees, which is why the company just launched a new Xbox Live Rewards program, set to give both Gold and Free members great benefits for staying loyal. Last year, the company tested out a rewards program, geared towards Gold members only.
Based on the new Rewards program, Microsoft Points can be earned by playing games, making purchases, renewing Xbox Live subscriptions, activating the Netflix application, or by taking surveys.
