There’s nary a pirate cliche that EA hasn’t already squeezed and wrung dry all over the press release for this one, so I’ll spare you all. A new downloadable area, called Barnacle Bay, is coming to Sims 3, bringing with it new characters, patterns, Create-a-Sims items, and almost two dozen new objects. Expected this fall, players will be able to roam new areas like Founder’s Beach, Goldbeard Galleon Gallery, Pirate’s Hideaway and The Wanderer’s Watering Hole in a new hideaway set on the shores of the Simuyan Sea.
