Since it was announced in July, Capcom has been pretty silent as to what we should expect from their upcoming title Mega Man Universe. After a teaser trailer — embedded after the break below — showing some of the company’s characters in a crossover battle, we have finally been given a real gameplay trailer to sink our teeth into.
As you can tell from the video above, the game is a brand new sidescrolling Mega Man title. Ditching the 8-bit, the blue bomber is featured as a 3D drawn figure that will navigate through expansive worlds with familiar foes. The trailer also confirms why we saw some other notable Capcom characters in the teaser trailer. It’s because they are all (likely) in this game as well! The new trailer confirms Ryu as a playable character, which makes Mega Man Universe sound like a very attractive offering.
