There aren’t many gamers that think a game delay is a good thing. Most of us want to get our hands on a game as soon as physically possible. Heck, many of us would even stab a guy or two. Not literally.
Anywho, it has been announced that Sega’s upcoming sci-fi shooter Conduit 2, is getting pushed back to Q1 of 2011. The High Voltage Software developed title was supposed to be released in November, but will get the boot to ’11 for fine tuning, including the newly added Classic Controller support.
So why is this a good thing? Activision has November 2nd circled on their calendars for the much anticipated release of GoldenEye 007 on Wii. The game is a FPS offering that fans have been asking for since the dawn of time. There is just no way in hell Conduit 2 could compete with it if they both launched the same month.
Pushing the game back past the holidays is going to be great for all parties involved. Very smart move High Voltage & Sega. See you in 2011.
