This news is particularly exciting for me. Not only because I think new Mortal Kombat game looks awesome, but also ’cause it gives me a chance to post those Gamescom screen shots that got left behind when I went on vacation last week. Whoops! I will say though that while it’s exciting to see a theatrical trailer, thus underscoring the approaching 2011 release date, this video doesn’t show off much of the brilliant and vivid gameplay Pete Betcher and I were privy to at this year’s E3. Pity. For a better idea of what that looks like, don’t forget to view the screen shots below.
And is it just me, or does someone need to get spanked for that trailer music choice?
