If you caught last night’s episode of GameTrailers TV, you were able to catch a special game announcement from Telltale Games in the form of a teaser trailer. Although very short, the trailer showed four notable characters standing in unison; Tycho from Penny Arcade, Max from Sam and Max, Heavy from Team Fortress 2, and Strong Bad.
The official announcement as to why these different characters from different worlds are uniting will come September 2nd, but until then, we may have a clue. Upon further inspection by 1UP, it appears the characters are holding a set of cards. Telltale knows a thing or two about card games, as they released a Texas Hold ‘Em title in 2005.
So before you start thinking this is like the video game version of the 90′s VHS sensation Cartoon All-Stars To The Rescue, it may just be an all-star poker game. Wait,…you don’t remember Cartoon All-Stars? Shame on you! It’s linked below the break.
