Beta for Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures now open

Sony and LucasArts have their sights set on pleasing Star Wars fans today, as both companies announced the launch of an open beta for the upcoming game Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures. Based on the Cartoon Network TV series, the game lets players leap into the phenomenal galactic universe, taking part in Lightsaber battles, races through space in Starfighters, and encounters with several minigames.

Clone Wars Adventures is free for players, but LucasArts does offer a subscription membership price of $5.99 monthly. You can also use Station Cash for micro-transactions, while unlocking additional playable characters. Registration for the open beta is open now, so step on over the the Clone Wars site and begin your Lightsaber training.

Clone Wars Adventures is set to launch on September 15th, just two days prior to the third season’s premiere episode, airing on September 17th.
