Kinect Joy Ride new screenshots and game facts

This ain’t Paul Walker’s Joy Ride. Microsoft is excited to announce details today about the upcoming motion controlled racing title from BigPark Inc., Kinect Joy Ride.

The game utilizes the new Kinect motion-sensing peripheral that can detect movements without the use of any controllers. You’ll be able to race, execute students and maneuver tricks, all free handed on your Xbox 360. You can race head to head against a friend locally, or in a heated 8-player match on Xbox Live.

Joy Ride features three main modes. The Race Mode, which includes six tracks set within three environments. And it wouldn’t be a racing game without power ups, including freeze blasts and speed mines. The Stunt Mode lets players ride along a half-pipe in an attempt to rack up your score. Dash Mode features a long straightaway that you’ll have to navigate while speeding down dodging obstacles.

Take a look in our gallery below for more images of the upcoming game, set to launch this November for $49.99.
