
No more waiting, guessing and pondering folks, as Nintendo today has given release dates to several of their key titles for the rest of the year. And there are a lot of heavy hitters on this list. Without further adieu, here’s the list:
- Metroid: Other M – August 31
- New Carnival Games – September 21
- Samurai Warriors 3 – September 27
- Wii Party – October 3
- NBA JAM – October 5
- Just Dance 2 – October 12
- Kirby’s Epic Yarn – October 17
- Rock Band 3 – October 29
- GoldenEye 007 – November 2
- PokePark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventure – November 1
- FlingSmash – November 7
- Sonic Colors – November 16
- Donkey Kong Country Returns – November 21
Nintendo also gave release time frames for some DS titles including:
- Professor Layton and the Unwound Future – September 12
- Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs – October 4
- Art Academy – October 25
- Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem! – November 14
- Super Scribblenauts – October
- Final Fantasy The 4 Heroes of Light – October 5
If you noticed, all of Nintendo’s heavy hitters are being released through November. The company has not one announced title launching in December. Could that give us some idea of the 3DS launch window? My guess? Absolutely. Stay tuned.
