BioShock was a critical darling, when released in 2007 by designer Ken Levine of Irrational Games (formerly under 2K Games). The magic returned in February when 2K Marin released an impressive follow up, titled BioShock 2. Now, the horror first person shooting adventure continues with a third installment, a prequel in fact.
BioShock Infinite, developed by Irrational Games, is set in 1912. Taking place in a city in the sky, literally, the game retains an important time in American history, keeping a strong sense of the 1910′s throughout the game. Although keeping the BioShock name, you can tell from the trailer below that it’s really a fresh new gaming experience. You can expect the title to release by the end of 2012.
