With new major hardware comes new trademarks, a few of which recently popped up in Japan for the 3DS. Siliconera reveales that Nintendo has registered the terms CrossPass, CrossPass Mode, CrossPass Network, and CrossPass Connection, speculated to be related to the new pass-by connection system coming to the 3DS. While they were at it, they also registered 3D Paddleball, 3D Challenge, and 3D Hopper, all just blandly-named enough to be demos, and Target Shooting, which actually is a demo (and was at this year’s E3).
I wonder if we’ll see more of these little trademarks and leaks in the months leading up to Nintendo 3DS’ release?
