Despite the economic woes of MGM and the recent decision to cancel the 23rd installment of the James Bond film series, Activision has stepped in to sooth your bloodied wounds by announcing a brand new 007 video game. While Wii owners will be reliving the past with GoldenEye 007 this fall, Xbox360, PC and PS3 owners will be playing James Bond 007: Blood Stone.
This brand new title features an original story, written by screenwriter Bruce Feirstein who penned the original GoldenEye. The game will star Daniel Craig as Bond, Judi Dench as M, and Grammy recording artist Joss Stone as the latest Bond girl. While not much is known about the story, the game will mix gameplay between traditional third person shooting, and high speed racing. Not so surprising, considering the game is being developed by Blur devs Bizarre Creations.
Look for this latest Bond game to release during holiday 2010.
