The term “exclusive” in the video game industry rarely means anything other than “for now.” That seems to be the case with EA Sports’ upcoming revival of the arcade classic NBA Jam.
The game is set to release exclusively on Wii this fall, but a recent rating has appeared for an Xbox 360 and PS3 version of the game on the USK (Germany’s ratings board). Likely, this means we can expect a cross platform announcement, after a slight head start on Wii.
I don’t think many doubted the chances that NBA Jam wouldn’t stay on Wii. Still, don’t take this as an official confirmation just yet. We’ll keep you posted.
