New screenshots from Call of Duty: Black Ops

Don’t ever let anyone tell you I don’t love you Tanooki fans. This morning I’ve fought valiantly through my apartment’s uncharacteristically dodgy wireless connection to bring you these screen shots from Call of Duty: Black Ops.

As I looked through these, and noticed the press asset label that came with the download that clearly marked these for all platforms, I began to wonder if it was fair to present these as a representation of what the game will look like on the Wii. Treyarch’s Mark Lamia has in the past said they were so dedicated to the platform that they were going to “blow us away” and that we wouldn’t be able to believe it was running on the Wii. Seems a bit too good to be true doesn’t it? I guess only time will tell if it lives up to those expectations.

Call of Duty: Black Ops debuts on the PC, XBOX 360, PS3, and the Wii on November 9, 2010.
