Some of the reasons I like to get away from the crowded show floors of E3 and visit the meeting rooms of the convention center include the facts that everyone upstairs is much more calm… and they usually have food! There’s also the important fact that they usually have titles or opportunities that aren’t available on the show floor.
After enjoying some refreshments provided by Valve (and spilling the lemonade on my swag bag…ugh!), a few of us were led into a dark room where Erik Johnson talked us through the basis of and some key new features in Portal 2, coming next year for the PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and – as we found out just the day before this screening – the PlayStation 3. Holly actually managed to sum up most of the details from the screening pretty well in her impressions post, but now you can actually view the video above and see everything we saw.
