As one of Nintendo’s many teased titles set to arrive on the 3DS when the handheld launches before March 2011, many wondered just how much a 3D version of Super Street Fighter IV would look like its HD console counterparts. The answer? A lot.
Capcom has just released the first screenshots from Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition, and it’s pretty exciting to see so much of the game’s style intact. You can already tell what elements will stand out and benefit from the 3D technology, including the characters themselves. You’ll also note some generic tables and chairs that will add to the immersion. Hopefully more substantial background images like animal or a cyclist will also pop out during your battle matches.
