Slim Xbox 360 on the way?

If Italian source Console Tribe is to be believed then it looks like there will be a new Xbox 360 announced at E3.  Following Sony’s tradition of releasing slimmer Playstation models, it seems Microsoft will be following suit by releasing a smaller, sleeker, and much more angular version of the 360.

The advertisement purports that the new system will come with a 250 GB hard drive, built-in wi-fi, and full compatibility with Kinect, the recently-revealed official name of Project Natal. Let’s just hope it isn’t plagued by the same heating issues that Sony has faced (and the end of the RRoD!).

I've got some doubts about this. Judging by the disc drive (because it's going to be the same size as the current models) there isn't a difference in height, or at least it's not noticeable. The other dimensions are harder to get just from the picture, but the width doesn't seem different either. And the angles are different between the front and back of the system, just doesn't seem like MS.

But then again, how would a fake ad get onto websites and such that fast with the new name for Natal? My guess is that it's just a revamped design and won't actually be labeled as a slim model.

I don't really believe hardcore gamers will use Kinect. Nothing beats the plastic controller!!!

I know this is a little out of left field, but can't we start getting some different-colored Xboxes? I also know this is a silly complaint, especially given some of the 360's other problems (RRD, wireless controllers' awful battery life, moving profiles' Live status to new profiles), but I'd like to see Xbox pull a Nintendo DS and start offering Sea Shell Pink and Sassy Gold or whatever colors. Black is so overdone, and the white's just old.
