If you thought the control scheme in The Conduit was the best FPS offering on Wii, then the upcoming sequel is aiming to blow you away. High Voltage Software’s Wii first-person-shooter Conduit 2 will support the use of Wii MotionPlus. The add-on will allow for greater precision with true 1 to 1 controls.
“Wii MotionPlus is something that the fans have been asking for since it was announced – we looked at it for the original game, took a look at its implementation in other titles, and ultimately felt that we could add to the experience in Conduit 2 by supporting it,” said Eric Nofsinger, Chief Creative Officer of High Voltage Software.“It’s by no means required – gamers will have a great experience without it – but it does offer a level of extra control and adds value to those with the accessory.”
For the sake of those that don’t have MotionPlus, it’s great that the title will allow users to decide whether or not they want that extra precision. But as far as online multiplayer is concerned, it will undoubtedly give you a leg up over the competition. Conduit 2 is set to ship this fall.
