Goichi Suda: No plan for No More Heroes 3

Despite previously ambitious comments regarding diarrhea No More Heroes 3, Grasshopper Manufacture’s Goichi Suda (a.k.a. Suda51) has acknowledged that the second sequel may not be as close as we would hope. Here’s a brief excerpt from his interview with Cubed3′s Adam Riley:

Adam Riley: Do you have a large storyline planned in your head for Travis alone, or would you eventually consider making a No More Heroes game that focuses on a different character?

Goichi Suda: Unfortunately, the story for Travis alone is completed in No More Heroes 2. I am very curious about his life after this; however, we have no plan for No More Heroes 3.

“No plan” doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t happen, of course. It just means that given the events in NMH2, Suda’s team doesn’t quite yet know how they want to continue the story. You can head over to check out the rest of the interview, which covers various topics like No More Heroes DS, Travis Touchdown in Super Smash Bros., Capcom vs. Grasshopper, and even a new killer7.
