Trauma Team operations start today on Wii

Atlus Games has announced that their latest surgery simulator Trauma Team has launched today in North America. Trauma Team is a departure from the previous Trauma Center titles, focusing more on the realistic medical side and less on the fictional over-the-top storylines. The concept takes inspiration from today’s most popular TV medical dramas, such as Grey’s Anatomy, despite being guilty of a few over-the-top storylines as well.

Following a cast of medical professionals, the game features six different gameplay types, ranging from high intensity surgery to forensic pathology. The game also supports a cooperative mode, so you won’t have to go it alone while on your medical journey.

Trauma Team combines the best aspects of medical dramas and crime investigation TV shows with satisfying gameplay that anyone can pick up and play,” stated Aram Jabbari, Atlus’ Manager of PR and Sales. “Whether it’s the captivating narrative, the interesting cast of characters, the variety of gameplay modes, or the ability to play with a friend, Trauma Team delivers exactly what Wii owners and fans of medical dramas are looking for in a new game.”

Trauma Team is now available for $39.99 for the Nintendo Wii.
