Sin & Punishment 2′s “Hard Mode” is brutal, says creator

When Sin & Punishment: Star Successor releases later this summer, fans will finally get there wish of playing a Sin & Punishment game outside of Japan. While you’ll get to play the game, don’t plan on beating it.

According to Treasure’s Masato Maegawa, the game’s “Hard Mode” is quite a bit challenging to say the least.

We were adjusting the difficulty right up to the end, so I don’t feel that it is too easy at all. I think that the Easy Mode is the perfect difficulty for anybody to be able to play the game to the end without having to give up and that, like with the first game, Hard Mode is so difficult that you may find it impossible to beat.

Official Nintendo Magazine said in their recent review that after playing the Hard Mode, the title is easily one of the hardest games on the console (since the game’s been out in Europe for weeks). Are you happy about having a challenging game in pipeline for Wii, or do you prefer more conquerable titles?
