This site has been around for some time, offering confusing tidbits and red herrings that prompted guesses of everything from Resistance 3 to Call of Duty 7. With the announcement of Call of Duty: Black Ops, the site has now been transformed into a corresponding teaser site.
The art direction reminds me very much of the atmosphere created in the Lost ARG, which means the opening image alone is chilling me to the bone. The dudes over at SystemLink also helpfully point out that, given some of the sounds and nuclear references in the early updates of the site, there will possibly be some kind of zombie or apocalyptic theme.
To start the experience, hit up the link, then type in 1146340 on the screen. Not much is there yet, but you should see a very familiar operating theater from the Call of Duty trailer…
