Your virtual decorating experience is about to get a little more custom! EA has announced that they will be releasing a free pattern tool for Sims 3 this summer.
The pattern tool will make it simple to create and edit your own patterns in-game. The move comes as little surprise, given how customizable Sims 3 already is–you can add your own patterns to the game. But this new system actually allows to design the patterns themselves. I for one plan to use this extensively to create an entire nauseating house of Hello Kitty prints. Yes.
