Fallout: New Vegas is expected this upcoming fall, and like Fallout 3 before it, will have a beautifully designed collector’s edition based on the highly detailed aesthetic of the game.
The collector’s edition will contain seven “Lucky 7” poker chips, designed to represent chips from the major casinos found in New Vegas; a Fallout: New Vegas deck of cards depicting characters and factions found within the game; a recreation of the game’s “Lucky 38” platinum chip; and a hardcover graphic novel, “All Roads”, written by Fallout: New Vegas creative director Chris Avellone in conjunction with Dark Horse Comics, which reveals some back story for the characters and locations in the game.
There will also be ‘The Making of Fallout: New Vegas’, a documentary DVD that will contain exclusive video content, including interviews with the developers. The CE is expected for all three versions, XBOX 360, PS3, and PC. There is no word yet on how many chips it’ll set you back, but we’ll update you here as soon as we know.
Update: Destructoid has confirmed the price of $69.99 for PC, and $79.99 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
