Just about a month before E3 kicks off here in Los Angeles, California, developer EA is wasting no time, mentioning a few of the titles that will be on display during a fourth quarter financial call today.
Of note is the upcoming new Need for Speed title. It will likely have something to do with cars, going fast, in a competition-like environment. The game is actually said to be a hybrid of NFS and Burnout, with Burnout‘s creator Criterion Games behind the project. I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
Other interesting showings at this year’s E3 include an unannounced “3D title,” as well as sequels or expansions of several EA Sports’ flagship titles, including the Wii phenomenon EA Sports Active. The company will also show off titles that will support Sony and Microsoft’s upcoming motion controller offerings.
Take a look at the list of what you can expect next month at E3, and as always anticipate a few surprises.
