Nintendo of Australia has just announced a drop in the price of the Wii console down under. Starting April 29th, Wii will drop from $399.95 to $299.95. The price drop was long awaited, as North American gamers have enjoyed a price reduced Wii for months.
To date, Wii has sold 1.79 million units thus far in the kangaroo continent. The console is also available in black and white. As we reported, the U.S. might be next to see the black Wii on store shelves, as early as next month. Just don’t expect any more U.S. price cuts.
