This isn’t the first time someone on the 5th Cell team has expressed an openness towards extending Scribblenauts to another platform…but it is the most promising! Scribblenauts creative director Jeremiah Slacza tells Official Nintendo Magazine:
“I think a Wii version could happen. It’s all about the fans – if the fans speak up and continue to buy and play the second one like they did the first one, I don’t see why we couldn’t make a case for a Wii version.”
Previously, 5th Cell’s technical director, Marius Fahlbusch would only say that they’d “never limited” themselves to the DS and “we’ll see what the future holds”. Now, we basically know that we’ll get Scribblenauts on the Wii if we buy enough Scribblenauts (and the yet-to-be-titled Scribblenauts 2) on DS. Upgrade?
