Demand for WoW and MW2 raises Activision’s forecasts

Thanks to the continuing success of World of Warcraft and Modern Warfare 2, Activision has raised its fiscal year forecasts thanks to the successful first quarter that ended March 31st. Initial predictions placed net revenue for the period at $1.1 billion and adjusted revenue at $525 million, but the publisher expects to pull in an adjusted revenue of $533 million instead. Full figures are expected to be released by Activision Blizzard by the 6th of next month.
