3D gaming coming to PlayStation Network in June

While June is still the month dedicated to the exciting world reveal of the Nintendo 3DS, Sony has decided to steal the company’s thunder with their own 3D plans. Sony Europe has announced plans to release four 3D games for download on the PlayStation Network; Wipeout HD, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, PAIN and Super Stardust HD.

The game’s June release date is being timed with the release of Sony’s new 3D TV, the HX803. The four titles will also be available for free to anyone who purchases their line of Sony Bravia 3D TVs. Glasses sold separately, although at least one pair should come bundled with your shiny new 3D TV.

Looks like 3D console gaming is finally happening.
