Those who regularly watch movies or play games on a laptop will delighted by Apple’s announcement this morning. The company has updated their MacBook Pro devices inside and out. First, the 15.4″ and 17″ Pros will be powered by Intel Core i5 or Intel Core i7 CPUs, boosting your computer’s performance by more than 50%, according to Apple. All new MacBook Pros will also boast 4GB RAM standard, a nice improvement from the standard 512MB a few years back.
The best new feature for gamers and media enthusiasts however, is having customizable screen options for the 15.4″ version. You can now pick between three different screens; Glossy Widescreen Display (1440×900 pixels), Hi-Res Glossy Widescreen (1680×1050 pixels) or Hi-Res Antiglare Widescreen Display (1680×1050 pixels).
If you’re like me, sometimes glare or glossy screens can make or break your gameplay. Now, you have options! All models are now featured on Apple’s website, if you want to take a closer took. The upgraded MacBook Pros start at $1199.
