Driving from a third-person video game perspective

Ever wondered what it would be like to drive a car from a third-person perspective like you do in a lot of video games? Grand Theft Auto, Crazy Taxi, or maybe even Cruisin’ USA. Well, the Immersion team at Rooster Teeth’s RT Shorts decided to do just that – they mounted a camera on the back of a truck, a monitor with a feed from the camera in front of the driver’s seat, and blacked out all the front and side windows. The results were literally hit or miss.

While I would like to see something like this but with a better track (how about the hills of downtown San Francisco?), don’t attempt to do something like this on your own!
