Remember when we were anticipating Sadness? The game may be non-existent and its website now gone, but that’s not to say that absolutely nothing came out of it. We obviously saw some intriguing examples of concept art. Now, courtesy of the game’s composer, Arkadiusz Reikowski, the game’s partial soundtrack has been made available.
The music for Sadness was influenced by the music from Silent Hill (Akira Yamaoki) and Siren: Blood Curse (Hitomi Shimizu). The pieces are all works-in-progress that were intended for a demo of the game, not what Reikowski intended for the final versions to sound like. Instead, the works made available are simply orchestrated versions of the written music.
