CVG points out that Hideo Kojima, creator of the Metal Gear series, once stated, “I always preach to the staff, ‘You must not have a delay after a release date has been announced. There is no greater crime as a game developer’.”
Despite this, official word out of Konami is that Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will see roughly a month’s delay in the UK. The PSP title, originally scheduled for May 29th, will now see British shelves by June 18th. It’s not an eternity of a delay, but a delay nonetheless.
