With No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle about to land in Europe next month, all eyes are back on Suda51 (aka Goichi Suda) and what types of projects he might work on in the future. In an interview with CVG, it was pointed out that Suda51 had worked on first-party Nintendo games in the past, specifically creating portions of 2008′s perfect Super Smash Bros. Brawl. He was asked what he would do if Nintendo ever approached him about helming an entire game for Nintendo.
“If there was the possibility, I’d be very interested. But I’d have to be able to create an original title.”
… Did you hear that? That was the sound of thousands of Wii gamers sitting up in their chairs with their eyes lighting up in excitement. Let’s hope Nintendo’s taking note – they could always use a new IP, and having Suda51 heading up the project doesn’t hurt either.
