Square Enix’s Shinji Hashimoto has recently been using the Square Enix Members Twitter account to gather fan opinions about Final Fantasy IX. Personally? I like it primarily for the music, but hey, I odd like that. Anyway, Hashimoto finally responded to all the feedback he’s received in the form of the following tweet:
“Thanks to everyone for your opinions on FF9. Regarding an FF9 download release, everyone is so passionate about it that I’ll be proposing it at the next board meeting. Look forward to next week!”
Next week, eh? Expect news about whether or not FFIX will become available via download in the near future and not necessarily the game’s release on the PSN next week… especially if Hashimoto is only just pitching FFIX at the next board meeting, whenever that may be.
