THQ has announced that their latest first person shooter meets action horror title Metro 2033 is now available in all markets. The game combines traditional FPS elements with a deep plot, never before seen character development and a survival horror theme.
In the year 2013, Moscow was destroyed by an apocalyptic event that left the world a graveyard wasteland. Those that did survive lived in the subway system underground, avoiding the mutant creatures that roamed Earth’s surface.
“Metro 2033 offers gamers an experience unlike any other,” said Richard Williams, VP of THQ Global Brand Management. “We’ve taken an extremely deep, engaging story, an incredible Russian twist on the post apocalyptic setting, and wrapped it up in some of the very best cinematic, first person action gameplay. Metro 2033 is now available for PC and Xbox 360.
